Dr. Patrick Tran: Dr. Patrick Tran is an Educational Designer / Developer at University of New South Wales (UNSW) Canberra. He holds a PhD in Machine Learning and an MBA in Accounting and Finance, both from University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). He has extensive experience in academia and has published seceral papers in peer-reviewed conferences and journals. His predominant research interests center around theoretical data mining and its domain-specific applications including cyber security and technology-enabled learning innovations. Through his applied research and teaching, Patrick seeks to enhance organizational security and efficiency by capitalizing on both structured and unstructured data to derive insights and turn them into value-adding actions.
